To check the FESCO bill online, you can follow these steps:

  • First, you have to visit fascobill.pk website.
  • Then enter your 14-digit bill reference number or 10-digit consumer ID in the input field.
  • After that click on the ‘Generate Bill’ button to see your latest bill with the amount, consumed units, and due date.
  • FESCO online bill download or print copy is easy by clicking on the print button or pressing Ctrl+p.

  • It’s also helpful to limit electricity usage between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.

The main purpose of TOU/TOD meters is to manage your energy consumption effectively during the peak hours. The TOU/TOD meters offer different rates for energy usage during peak and off-peak hours.

Things You Should Know About Your Electricity Bill

Did you ever notice that your FESCO bill check online has different types of charges and taxes in the WAPDA bill that affect your bill’s overall amount? These charges include the cost of electricity, T.R. surcharge, F.C. surcharge, GST on FPA, GST, and TV Fee.

FPA

The FPA, or fuel price adjustment, is included in the monthly bill and reflects the fluctuating cost of fuel for energy companies that generate electricity from oil. This adjustment varies from month to month, depending on the current fuel prices in the country.

TR Surcharge 

TR stands for Tariff Rationalization and is used to refer to the NEPRA and GOP tariff gap. The purpose of the TR Surcharge is to decrease the overall power subsidy on the budget and maintain a consistent tariff across the country through cross-subsidy. It’s important to note that this surcharge may differ from one distribution company to another.  

FC Surcharge

FC refers to Financing Cost, and the FC surcharge is primarily implemented to ensure that Power Holding Private Limited can collect funds for debt servicing.

TV FEE

This is a fixed Rs.35 amount that is added to your bill to generate funds for Pakistan Television (PTV).

GST

The General Sales Tax, also known as GST, is applied to your total electricity cost at a rate of 17% and is added to your bill. 

How to Check Load Shedding Schedule?

You can follow these steps to check the load-shedding schedule in your area:

  • First, you have to visit the CCMS site.
  • Then select the feeder details.
  • After that enter your 14-digit reference number and click the submit button to access the schedule of load shedding for your specific feeder.
  • You can also search with your grid station or city by entering the required details in the ‘search by city, grid, feeder’ section.

Register and Track Your Complaints 

If you have any complaints related to electricity, meter or line, you can register and track your existing complaint status through CCMS, here are the steps to follow. 

  • First, you need to visit the CCMS site. 
  • Then select the Register Complaint option.
  • You have to verify first that you are a registered FESCO consumer, by using your mobile number or your bill reference number.
  • Your customer information will appear in the Customer Info section if you are a registered consumer.
  • Enter your complaint details in the Complaint Detail Section and click the “Register Complaint” button.
  • To track your complaint, navigate to the “Track by Reference” option and enter your reference number to see the status of your complaint.

You can expect to receive an acknowledgment of your complaint within 24 hours, and the FESCO team will work to resolve it within 14 days.  

FESCO Bill Payment Methods

When you receive your FESCO bill, you have the option to pay it either online or offline.

Online Payment

Nowadays online payment of your FESCO bill is easy and simple, you have a variety of online payment options including JazzCash, Easypaisa, NayaPay, SadaPay mobile apps, or internet banking. For online payment, you don’t have to wait for a physical bill copy.

Offline Payment

This is an old and traditional payment method and you need a Printed/hard copy of your bill. You can pay your electricity bill in all scheduled Banks of Pakistan, Nadra, Ubl Omni, EasyPaisa, Bank Alflah online, and the post offices.

Extension of Due Date and Installments

If you are looking for an extension on your bill payment due date to avoid late payment charges, you can apply for it. Additionally, you can also request to split your bill into multiple installments.

To reconnect a disconnected FESCO connection, you can fill out a form available at the Revenue Office at no cost and follow the specified instructions to have the connection restored.

There is a 07-days grace period allowed for depositing the electricity bills.

If you do not have a customer ID or any old bills, you can retrieve your reference number or customer ID through CCMS by entering your registered mobile number.

You cannot check the Fesco bill by using your CNIC, name, or meter number. You will need a reference number to check your FESCO bill online. If you don’t have a reference number, you can call the helpline or visit the nearest office for assistance.

You can check the FESCO bill history of the last 12 months as it is already printed on your current month’s bill.

To change the connection from domestic to commercial, you have to apply to the SDO office with a copy of CNIC, Affidavit of Rs. 20, and last paid bill.

You can submit the name change application to the Sub-Division officer with details and the reason for the name change. They will process the application and will change the name to a new one.
